This candidate would play a crucial role in overseeing the legal facets of class action settlements, ensuring that all procedures are executed efficiently and adhere to legal standards.
Responsibilities
- Contract Management: Negotiating, drafting, reviewing, and revising various contracts, with a focus on complex class action settlement agreements.
- Settlement Processes: Preparing motions for court approval of class action settlements and collaborating with class action administrators to ensure proper settlement administration.
- Document Preparation: Creating and refining class action notices, claim forms, and other related documents to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Monitoring Compliance: Overseeing class action administrators to ensure they fulfill their responsibilities in accordance with court instructions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in employment litigation
- Proficiency in contract negotiation and drafting.
- Experience with class action settlements is preferred.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
